Microsoft will end support for Windows 11 version 24H2 Home and Pro on 13 October 2026. After this date, devices still running this version will no longer receive security and quality updates.

For individuals and organisations alike, running unsupported software can create security vulnerabilities that attackers may exploit to compromise devices and data. In addition to security updates, Windows updates include new features, bug fixes, and performance enhancements that help keep devices secure, reliable, and operating effectively.

To prepare:

  1. Check which version of Windows 11 is installed on your devices.

  2. Identify devices that may not support newer Windows versions and plan for replacement or alternative solutions where needed.

  3. Update eligible devices to Windows 11 version 25H2.

If you have devices that cannot be updated, or you're unsure of the best path forward, please feel free to contact us.
